Farmhouse. Late C17. Altered and extended c.1875. Coursed and
squared rubble and brick with slate roofs. Partly rendered.
Rubble plinth. 3 gable and single external near wall stacks. 2
storeys, 4 bays, L-plan. Windows are C20 casements. Southwest
front has off-centre French window with flanking lights. To its
left a casement. To its right, a door. To right again,
projecting gable wing with a bow window. Rear has off-centre C19
2-storey wing with casement. To its left, a casement. To its
right, a lean-to-porch with door. Beyond, a Yorkshire sash and
lean-to C20 porch with door. Above, 3 casements. North east
gable has 2 storey gabled square turret with a hatch. Door in
return angle. Rear wing return angle has 2 casements. Above, 2
casements. Interior is said to be without timber framing.
