Canal bridge. c1819, restored c1989. Probably designed by
William Chapman, canal engineer, for the Sheffield Canal
Company. Coursed squared stone and brick. Single segmental
brick arch with stone facing. String course on north-east
side. Splayed brick parapet walls with chamfered stone coping
and square brick piers. The canal from Sheffield to Tinsley
was opened in 1819.
