Stables, now store. Late C18 or early C19. Coursed and squared
limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, and a slate roof.
Single storey and loft. A symmetrical front has a central
elliptical-arched carriage entrance with key and imposts,
flanking flat-headed doorways, outer 2-light flat-faced
stone-mullioned windows with circular ashlar pitching holes
above. Boarded doors. Coped gables, the left-hand one with
moulded finial base. Right-hand gable has blocked window and
lunette over. INTERIOR: details include timber partitions and
collar truss roof. A good and complete example of an inn
stable of its period.
