Farmhouse, now clubhouse, shop and cottage. Probably mid to
later C18; altered. Coursed sandstone rubble with quoins
(painted white), stone slate roofs. Double-pile plan under
2-span roof, double-fronted, plus a short set-back extension
at the right-hand end.
2 storeys, 3+1 windows. The main range is symmetrical, and has
a central doorway with plain surround, a one-light window
above the door and two 2-light mullioned windows on each
floor, all with plain surrounds and altered glazing (6-pane
top-hung casements), gable copings with kneelers, and large
corniced gable chimneys. The set-back extension to the right
has a window and doorway coupled at ground floor, and a
2-light window above, all similar to the others. Altered
former barn continues to the right. The rear range has similar
openings.
