House, now vice-chancellor's residence. 1797. For Joseph Lowe.
Mid C19 additions and alterations. Stucco with hipped slate
roof and 5 rendered stacks. Plinth, cornice and blocking
course. 2 storeys; 4 x 6 windows. L-plan. Windows are mainly
original glazing bar sashes to the first floor, and margin
light sashes below, all in moulded surrounds. South front has
paired windows in the centre. Returns have 3 windows, the
centre left altered to a French window. Rear addition to left
return has 3 glazing bar sashes on each floor.
