Boundary wall and gate piers to
Church of St George

GV II

Boundary wall and gate piers. Early C19. Ashlar. Plinth,
string course, shallow gabled coping except on Broad Lane
side.
St George's Terrace side has a raised rounded corner to left,
and to right, 3 flat piers with double chamfered caps. Broad
Lane side is lower, with chamfered coping. Mappin Street side
is higher, with rounded corners with capped square piers, and
central steps flanked by square piers with pyramidal caps.
Portobello Road side has chamfered coping.
