House, used as a Methodist meeting house mid C19. c1800,
altered mid C20. Brick, partly painted, with slate and plain
tile roofs and 2 brick gable stacks. Dentillated eaves, coped
gables. 2 storeys; 2:2 window range. Block to left has a
central glazed porch, mid C20, flanked by single plain sashes.
Above, 2 renewed windows. Set back block to right has 3
casements to the ground floor and 2 similar windows above, all
late C20. Left gable, facing the street, has a central
round-arched dummy window, and to left a larger window,
reglazed. Plaque on front of cottage.
