Memorial monument. c1880. Sandstone and granite. Cross-gabled
inscribed pedestal topped with draped urn, on stepped and
partly vermiculated plinth. Chamfered base. Chamfered
inscribed slab. Surrounded by a round-cornered cast-iron
railing on a chamfered stone plinth.
Mark Firth was one of the leading steel makers and public
benefactors in C19 Sheffield.
