House sited just outside the city walls. Circa late 1830s. Mass wall construction, painted render. Red brick chimney shafts. Slated hipped roof. Some cast iron rainwater goods.
Plan: Double-depth, 2 rooms wide. Heated by end and axial chimney stacks.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Boxed eaves. Symmetrical 3-window front. Tuscan porch with fielded panel reveals with inverted corners to doorcase. 6-panel door with the top 2 being glazed and middle 2 being fielded with inverted corners. 16-pane boxed sash windows with horns throughout.
Left return: at ground floor level are two 8/12-pane hornless boxed sash windows. At first floor are two 16-pane hornless boxed sash windows.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
An externally little-altered example of a small early C19 Classical villa.
