Memorial bust. c1890. To Major Jonathan White, 1804-1889. Life
size bronze bust, on a square, tapered pink granite pedestal,
approx 1.5m high. The pedestal is encircled by a bronze
foliage wreath and ribbon. The bust is signed but illegible.
Major White was the first commander of the Robin Hood Rifles,
a volunteer regiment formed in 1859.
