House, now museum. Late C17, refronted c1800, restored and
interior remodelled c1970. Stucco, gloss painted, with steep
pitched plain tile roof with a coped gable and a rendered
ridge stack. Ashlar plinth and parapet coping, moulded wooden
eaves cornice. 2 storeys plus blind attics; 3 window range of
12-pane sashes. Above, 3 blank panels. Central Greek Doric
wooden doorcase with oval half-columns, pediment, panelled
door and fanlight. On each side, a 12-pane sash.
