Barn. Mid to late C17. Timberframed clad in weatherboarding with half-hipped plain tiled roof. Two pairs of full height doors on the central bays, plain boarded and with a diagonal brace.
INTERIOR: Oak frame of three bays. Jowled posts support a tie beam with curved wind braces to each bay. Two simple struts support purlins and principal trusses and the truss at hipped end position has high level bracing in the form of collar and king post supporting the hip. Wall frames are from vertical studs with diagonal braces between wall plate and sill beam. The frame is diagonally braced at wall plate corners. An internal platform has been inserted in the southernmost bay at a later time.
