Toll house or lodge, now village hall. Early C19; extended 1918. Gault brick, with ashlar dressings and patterned Welsh slate roof. Central brick stack set diagonally. Plinth, curved eaves brackets, formerly with posts supporting bowed front. Single storey. Square plan with bowed front and a diagonal projection at each corner containing a door; hall built at rear in 1918. Openings have splayed lintels with keystones.
Bowed front has a large fixed glazing bar window with vents in the top lights and a corniced keystone. On each side, a projection with a doorway, that to left blocked. On each side, 2 windows, those to south reglazed, those to north blocked, partly covered by mid C20 additions. Rear has 2 doorways flanked by diagonal projections, each with a blocked door.
INTERIOR: Plain, with 2 original rooms and a cupboard. Original fireplace with wooden chimneypiece.
