House and cutlery works, now offices. Early C19, with mid C19
and late C20 alterations; right gable rebuilt c1988. Brick
with ashlar dressings and slate roof with a gable stack.
Plinth, modillion wood eaves.
3 storeys; 5 window range. Windows mainly with brick flat
arches. First floor has an off-centre plain sash flanked to
left by a 12 pane sash and to right by 3 closely spaced 12
pane sashes, the inserted central one with a lintel. Above, to
left, a small glazing bar casement flanked to left by a 9 pane
sash and to right by a top hung casement. To right, an
inserted 9 pane sash with lintel, flanked by single C20
casements. Ground floor has to left a pilastered wooden
doorcase without its cornice, framing a close boarded door
with rubbed brick round head and fanlight. To its right, a
fielded 6-panel door with overlight. To its right, 2 boarded
up windows.
