The Lodge

Lodge, now house. c1870, with late C20 alterations. Rock-faced
stone with ashlar dressings and decorative slate roof with
overhanging eaves and ornate bargeboards. Single gable stack.
Single storey plus attic. Main front has central gabled wing
with a large tripartite plain sash in a moulded ashlar
surround with hoodmould. Above in the gable a small pointed
arched panel with hoodmould and date. Gable has decorative
bracing and wooden finial. To the right a lean-to
porch/verandah with stick balustrade and a part glazed door.
Above a decorative 2-light casement dormer window. Right gable
has triple plain sash in moulded surround with hoodmould.
Above a small pointed arched panel with hood and date.
