Gateway and railings to Canal Museum
GV II
Gateway and railings to canal warehouse, now museum. 1895,
converted 1980-1. For Fellows, Morton & Clayton Ltd. Cast-iron
and wrought-iron, with ashlar plinth. Pair of chamfered square
cast-iron gate piers with plinths and concave-sided pyramidal
caps. Pair of spiked wrought-iron gates, and small side gate
to left. To right, spiked wrought-iron railing on chamfered
plinth, approx 35m long.
