Includes: Wall along south side of Little Hill LITTLE HILL.
Wall. C18 origin. Limestone rubble with gritstone quoins and
copings. Approximately 2m in height lining east side of Church
Alley between rear-left corner of St John's Hospital, South
Church Street (qv) and the corner with Little Hill. Wall
continues down south side of Little Hill to join side wall of
steps on right return of The Old Town Hall, King Street (qv).
Church Alley section has studded door with gritstone jambs and
lintel formed by elongated half-round coping. Little Hill
section is taller and has a blocked doorway.
