Villa. c1830-50 with later alterations. Stucco over brick with
flattened hipped slate roof, stucco hip stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attics, 3 first-floor windows;
service range to rear. Quoins to angles at ground floor,
first-floor band, stepped eaves band and wide eaves; tooled,
eared architraves, those to ground floor have aprons. 6/6
sashes throughout. Central entrance a 4-panel, part-glazed
door, pilastered porch has sunk panels. Attic roof dormer has
6/6 sashes. Left return has 2 first-floor windows;
breakforward at left with ground-floor bow window. Stucco
detailing as for front facade. Mainly 6/6 sashes, above bow
are French windows with margin-lights.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Occupies a good corner site with No.60 Painswick Road (qv),
and Brandon House (qv), No.62 Painswick Road.
