3 houses in irregular terrace and attached railings. c1820-34,
shown as built on Merrett's Map of 1834, but not on Post
Office Map of 1820. Stucco over brick with slate roof to left,
otherwise concealed, tall brick and stucco party-wall and end
stacks, iron railings, window guards and porches.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 7 first-floor window (2:3:2). First-floor
band to centre house. Mainly 6/6 sashes; 4th first-floor
window blind; ground floor has wider sash to centre house (1/1
with side-lights and cambered head); to right house, ground
floor a 1/1 sash with tooled architrave; basement has 8/8
sashes where original. All in plain reveals and with sills.
Central entrance to left, otherwise right entrances, two
6-fielded-panel doors (one part-glazed) otherwise C20 door,
with lattice frieze and fanlights, all in plain reveals.
Crowning frieze to centre house, cornices and blocking course
to centre and left.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: tent porches, that to centre is
semicircular and has ornate frieze, scrolls to uprights;
first-floor window guards have embellished rods to left and
centre, with elaborate panels to centre; scrolls to right.
Forecourt spearhead railings and gate with urn finials to
stanchions to central house; area stick railings at right and
area balustrade with scrolls to left house.
