Terrace of 3 houses. Mid C19. Gault brick, No.3 and ground
floor of No.5 are colourwashed. Slate and concrete tiled roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 6-window range. North front shows each
property to be of 2 bays consisting of a doorway and a
full-height canted window bay. One window each floor above the
doors under gauged skewback arches. All windows are late C20
top-hung casements. All doors are late C20 glazed doors, but
they are set within doorcases with panelled reveals and
cornices. Between doors to Nos 3 & 4 is another panelled
reveal and a door leading to passage to rear. This door is
C19: 2 vertical panels. Hipped roof, slated to No.5, concrete
tiles otherwise. Transverse ridge stack remains between Nos.4
and 5 and there is a second stack on rear roof slope of No.5.
West return in 3 bays. Colourwashed ground floor. Central door
and C20 side windows. First floor with a French window with
2/2 glazing bars and a pediment opening onto a balustraded
balcony. One late C20 top-hung casement right and left. 2
similar second-floor casements separated by a 1/1 round-headed
window.
INTERIOR: stick-baluster staircase with a ramped and wreathed
handrail.
