Detached farmhouse. C17. Local grey lias stone cut and squared, Ham stone dressings; thatched roof between coped
gables; brick end and intermediate chimney stacks. Two storeys, 5 bays, bays 4 and 5 being a C18 addition. Below,
3-light ovolo-mould mullioned windows bays 1 and 3, with moulded cambered-arched doorway having incised spandrils to
bay 2, C18 panelled and glazed door, the shared label to these cut by lintol over doorway; above, 3-light
horizontal-bar casements under timber lintols; to lower bays 4 and 5 a 2 and a 3-light beaded mullioned window in
architrave, to upper bay 5 another 3-light casement. Outshut to rear, of early date, and against south gable an
outbuilding with very shallow pitch triple-roll clay tile roof with coped gable, segmental arched doorway in south
gable, formerly chaff house and wagon shed. Interior not seen, but reported is a 2-room through passage layout with
early outshut; two fireplaces in original gable walls, chamfered beams with step and runout stops. (SSAVBRG Report, SRO
