ST 6143 SHEPTON MALLET BOARD CROSS

House. Circa early C19, extended later C19. Whitewashed stone rubble with stone dressings. Pantile roof with stone coping to gable ends and to side of rear outshut.
PLAN: principal room on either side of central entrance; C19 2-storey outshuts added at rear. Converted outbuildings attached on either side are not included.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window south front with stone window frames, later C19 sashes with vertical glazing bars and central doorway with pedimented stone frame and panelled door, the top panels glazed. The roof at the rear is carried down over a 2-storey outshut with various casement windows and a glazed door at centre.
INTERIOR: reputed to have some original chimneypieces.
