Boathouse. c1890. Weatherboarded timber-frame. Clay plain tile roof with gabled ends, pierced ridge-tiles and terracotta finials. Long rectangular plan single-storey building with loft, and standing on masonry piers set in River Test. One end is open and has scissor-truss form of bargeboards with cusping at apex; set behind the truss a window and above is a wrought-iron weathervane.
