Small block of back-to-back houses (3 plus 3). Probably early
to mid C19, altered and now derelict and blocked up.
Coursed squared sandstone, slate roof. Double-depth plan, the
houses in each street all single-depth and single-fronted.
3 storeys, one window each; plain gutter cornice. Those facing
Hebrew Street have the doorways to the left (all blocked) and
one window on each floor, diminishing in height from floor to
floor (all blocked), all these openings with plain stone
surrounds and the windows with slightly-raised sills. Those
facing Lee Green Street are similar, but the 1st (to the left)
has altered windows at 1st and 2nd floors.
INTERIOR not inspected.
Included as a rare surviving example of relatively unaltered
back-to-back housing which typified Burnley in the 1st half of
the 19th century.
