Built on hillside in irregular plan, probably C18. Two storeys. Roughcast
end wall facing Lake Road has a latticed wooden porch, two 12-paned sash
windows at ground level, a sash window at left at 1st floor level, and
a higher sash to right. Church Street front is of scored stucco and has
three 16-paned sash windows on 1st floor, C19 shop windows below with channelled
pilasters, and a cornice over the ground floor. Large round chimney in
the angle.
Nos 2 to 11 (consec), Royal Oak Hotel, Premises formerly occupied by T and J Glen
and Rotha's Cafe form a group with Premises occupied by Tyson, lake Road.
