Manor house with extensions and additions. Mid C17, C18, mid and
late C19, C20. Coursed rubble and brick. Colourwashed and
partly rendered. Slate roofs. Partial rubble plinth.
Dentillated eaves. Single gable and single ridge stacks. 2
storeys, 6 bays. L-plan. Windows are mainly glazing bar sashes,
and casements with segmental heads. Front has off-centre gabled
wing. To its left, C20 garage and C19 outbuilding with lean-to
plastic porch. To right again, C19 lean-to addition. Gabled
wing has C20 casement. To its right, lean-to C19 porch in return
angle with glazed door and casement. To its right, 3 sashes of
different sizes. Above, to left, a casement. To right, 3
similar casements. Return angle has C20 casement. Gable end has
a sash and above, a casement. Rear has off-centre C19 door and
to its right, 2 casements. To right again, C20 casement. Above,
off-centre Yorkshire sash and to its right, 4 different
casements. Interior has stair with square newels and C17 splat
balusters. 2 chamfered span beams with stops. C19 stair with
square newels and stick balusters. Stud partition wall. Early
C19 hob grate.
