Timber framed range of 2 builds, probably C17 with alterations. Two storeys, high
pitched tiled roofs. Nos 2 and 3, three windows. Banded tile hung 1st floor.
Slightly projecting modern shop fronts under tiled pentice which continues in front
of No 4: slightly lower building of 2 storeys and attic in projecting returned
gable end with small leaded easements. Tile hung 1st floor and 2 canted bay shop
windows with glazing bars.
Back view shows ranges at right angles to read, of differing heights and with hipped
ends. No 2 has tile hanging above and brick below; others of coursed rubble with
red brick dressings. Various C19 and modern casements.
