Early C17. 7 bays with projecting entrance in middle of south side and a cart-
way through the 2nd bay from the west. Thick red brick walls in English bond,
with vertical slotted openings (some filled). Roof truss rests on eaves, a
massive cambered tie-beam, with a central vertical and 2 sloping struts to
collar beam, the 2 lines of purlins being jointed into the truss rafters, with
arch braces in the central section. Bricknogged frame separates the main barn
from the roadway. Red tile roof. C16 2 storeyed granary now half-demolished
and ruinous.
