C16 or earlier. 2 storeys, 1 window to High Street. High pitched tiled roof
with hipped gable end to High Street. Visible timber framing with painted brick
filling on 1st floor. Rubble masonry below. Ground floor C19 canted oriel
bay shop window. C19 casement above. 1-window right extension has painted
brick ground floor with sliding horizontal sash window; tile hung set back 1st
floor with modern casement. Left return to Lodge Lane brick with exposed timber
framing. 2 C19 casements on 1st floor. Sliding sash under segmental arch and
top glazed 4-panel door below.
Corner Cottage forms a group with Tudor Cottage, Carters Cross, White House,
Bibury, Nos 1 to 4 (consec) and Bank Cottage, Lodge Lane.
