House. 1831. Brick, rendered and whitewashed. Hipped slate and flat asphalt
roofs. Plinth. Deep eaves. 3 side wall stacks. 3 storeys, 6 unequal bays.
Square plan with single wing. Windows are mostly glazing bar sashes. West
front has central porch tower and to left, 2 storey service wing with casement
and sash. In return angle, C20 flat roofed addition and to its right, larger 2
storey addition with hipped roof and canted C19 bay window with 3 sashes. To
its right, part glazed door with rubbed brick head and segmental hood. To right
again, canted C19 bay window with 3 sashes. Above, to left, casement and to its
right, 5 sashes. Above again, 3 sashes. Porch has single sash each side.
South end has off-centre glazed door with segmental head. To left, 2 sashes one
with segmental head. To right, canted bay window with casements. Above, 2
sashes. Rear has 2 storey wing to left, and lean-to addition in return angle.
North end has large casement with segmental head, and above, a casement.
Adjoining brick boundary wall has ramped gabled coping and pair of square piers with
flat caps, iron overthrow and elaborate early C19 iron gate. Approx 25 m long.
