Manor house and courtyard wall. Late C18 and mid C19. Brick
with steep pitched slate roofs. Brick plinth. First floor band.
Cogged eaves. 4 gable and external side wall stacks. 2 storeys
plus garrets, 5 bays. L-plan. Windows are mainly mid C19
sashes. Those to front ground floor have segmental rubbed brick
heads. Front has central doorway with keystoned round head and
fanlight, flanked by 2 sashes. Above, 5 sashes. North east side
has lower 2 storey service building and rear wing with lean-to
addition and stair turret. To left, 2 Yorkshire sashes with
segmental heads. To their right, a casement and a sash. Above,
2 casements. Above again, to right, 2 casements. Rear elevation
has to right, doorway with round head, and above, a casement.
Return angle has a sash and to right, door and Yorkshire sash,
both with segmental heads. Above, to left, a sash. Adjoining L-
plan brick courtyard wall has brick coping and door with
segmental head. In corner, parapeted toilet block with round
headed door.
