Circa 1840 terrace ashlar faced. 3 storeys most of ground floors altered. Each
house has 3 storey bow of 3 windows and one window each floor above entrance.
Heavy moulded stone eaves cornice carried over bows. Block and moulded string
courses and sill courses. 1st floor windows on bows divided by Doric pilasters.
All sashes with glazing bars intact to upper floors, those ove doors in architrave
surrounds. Modern shop fronts have spoilt ground floors. Only No 5 retains
ground floor of bow intact with rustication to piers dividing windows. Nos 5,
6 and 7 retain doorways with architrave surrounds, panelled flanking strips and
long console brackets over to moulded cornices. Nos 6 and 7 retain doors of
4 moulded panels filth 2 pane fanlights.

Nos 5 to 19 (consec) form a good group.
