North gateway about 20m north of the Manor House

Gateway. Probably C18. Ham stone ashlar, wrot iron gate. Gate piers have chamfered plinths rusticated ashlar shafts
moulded cornice caps with step and necked squat obleisk finials. Early C20 metal farm-type gate between. Rubble wing
walls, set in curves, with vertical set stone copings, extending out from each gate pier. Gateway part of the setting
of the Manor House (qv).
