Large early C18 house of two storeys and attic, nine windows. Two-storey, four-bay right addition dated 1765 on rain water head. Original part has high pitched hipped tiled roof marred by long modern dormers. Red brick with diaper of blue headers, first floor band. Gauged red brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars in exposed frames. Modillioned eaves cornice. Old doorway now bricked up. Right part of red brick with some blue headers. Three windows and chimney breast. Gauged brick arches to large sash windows with glazing bars. House now converted to maisonettes. Modern bay windows at back.

Riverhead House, Forecourt railings, Coach house and walls form a group.
