House, c1600, heavily restored in later C19, rubble stone with
ashlar dressings and fishscale-banded plain tile roofs. West end
stack. 2½ storeys, 2-gabled front with central projecting 2-
storey ashlar gabled porch. Porch has coped gable and ball
finial, hollow-moulded recessed mullion windows, one 3-light with
hood mould to first floor front, blank 2-light to each side.
Dripcourse over flush moulded doorway. Main house has entirely
C19 fenestration, 3-light ovolo-moulded with hood mould and
relieving arch to main floors each side, 3-light chamfered with
hoodmould to attics. On right side date plaque P W / I V M V /
1614. West end extension with brick gable end.
Parallel rear range with end stacks appears mostly C19 but is
remodelling of earlier building. Three sharp gables, C19 mullion
windows generally with 2-storey ashlar bay window, but 18-pane
stair-light probably C18. Single storey range to right of main
front with stone slates, half-hipped to West. C20 door with hood
on brackets and renewed timber-mullion windows.
