Cottage. Probably late C18-early C19. Plastered cob on rubble footings; cob stack
topped with brick; wheat reed thatched roof. 2 room cottage facing south with
large cob stack projecting from right (east) gable end and surrounded by single
storey rubble walled and slate roofed lean-to. 2 storeys. Balanced 2-window front
of C19 and C20 casements, 3 lights to right, 2 to left, 6 panes per light except
for left-hand first floor window which has C20 single pane casements. Central door
behind late C19 timber porch which has panelled and glazed sides (with glazing
bars) and shaped bargeboards (porch roof thatched October 1984). Roof hipped to
left. Plain carpentry detail inside.
