Building at west end of street, facing Marygate. 2 builds. North part of
late C18. 4-storeys, 4 bays, 2 canted back at left. Red brick. Stone moulded
and modillioned eaves cornice. Fairly low pitched hipped roof of stone flags.
Finely gauged brick arches, with fluted triple keystones, and stone cills to
later sash windows. Modern shop continues along ground floor of 2nd build:
Early C19, 5-storeys, one window. Lighter and larger red brick, similar stone
eaves cornice. Lower pitched hipped Welsh slate roof. Gauged brick arches
and stone cills to C19 sash windows.
