In reality a large porch, the only surviving remains of a late C16 house
within a moat. Inscribed on front "Bono Vince Malum 1584". Pairs of
Ionic columns support an entablature framing round headed-arch. 3 armorial
shields. Inner arch also round headed with ornament.
