Farmhouse and adjoining wall. Early and mid C19. Early C19
house of red brick. Slate roof. 2 gable and single ridge red
brick stacks. Dogtooth eaves. Set on a plinth. Two and ahalf
storeys, with cellar, 4 bays. Left cellar with single glazing
bar casement. Above, doorway with panelled door and overlight,
fluted pilaster strips topped with single patera support 2
brackets and hood. To the left is a single tripartite sash with
2 similar sashes to the right. Above are 3 similar sashes with
single smaller sash over the doorway, all under segmental arches.
On the top floor are 4 similar smaller sashes. Attached to the
right corner of the house is a late C19 low red brick wall with
painted coping and decorative cast iron railings. This extends
for about a single metre, turns at a right angle and extends in
front of the house for about 17 metres, being broken by a small
gateway with similar iron gate.
