Roving bridge. Between 1794 and 1801. Benjamin Outram and
Thomas Brown engineers. Roughly dressed stone, finely
dressed copings. Semi-circular arch, stone band and rounded
copings. The retaining/parapet walls are curved in plan, one
end being terminated in a square pier, the other sweeping
down to tow-path level.
