Walled garden at Stanford Hall

Walled garden incorporating a cottage and conservatory. Early
and late C19. Red brick, ashlar dressings. Quadrangular plan.
Red brick wall coped with ashlar and broken in parts by doorways.
The north side with projecting late C19 conservatory. Set on a
red brick plinth. 5 bays. Central doorway and glazed double
door flanked by 2 fixed lights. Decorative fanlights over with
decorative glazed spandrels. Topped with continuous ridge
ventilator. The west wall incorporates a red brick and slate
cottage. Late C19 incorporating earlier build. Single red brick
stacks to the right gable and front left. Dentil eaves. First
floor ashlar sill band. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the single left bay
slightly set back. Arched doorway with Doric columns and
pediment. Either side are single sashes. Above are 4 similar
smaller sashes.
