C18 front to timber-framed building. 3 storeys and attic plastered. Old
tiled roof having 2 hipped dormers and a hipped belvedere. Carved wooden
bracket cornice. 3 sashes with glazing bars intact. Overhang. 1st floor
has 3 canted bays, 2 are 4 light, 1 is 3 light. Modern shopfront. The house
was built originally as a Pilgrim's hostel.
