Two monuments of unusual types. C17 and C18. (a) Grad--ry monument 6 metres south: Chest tomb, Mid-C17. Ham stone. Base
and part of body buried; oval panels in wreaths, one each end and two each flank, decorated pulvinated frieze; cavetto
aould coving to heavy hipped top: on north side fine carved panel with console pilasters, scroll pilasters to south.
Commemorates Samuel Grad--ry died 1659. A very fine example. (b) Johnson monument 8 metres south: Chest tomb, early
C18. Ham stone. Base buried; plain sides and flanks; plain frieze over string, cyma recta coving to heavy flat top.
Commemorates Robert Johnson, died 1707.
