Church. Tower C15 on C12 foundations, otherwise rebuilt
early C19. Coursed rubble tower otherwise watershot stone
with ashlar dressings. Nave with west tower, porch and
chancel (formerlywith 3-sided gallery). 4-bay nave with
round-headed windows and 1-bay chancel with pointed windows
all with impost blocks and keystones. Porch between bays 3
and 4 has a segmental-headed doorway, commemorative plaque
of 1815, a round-headed window and coped gable with
kneelers. Pointed-arch east window with keystone. 3-stage
tower has C17 door surround within a C15 arch, diagonal
weathered buttresses, quoins, a castellated parapet with
enriched finials. C15 mullion and transom west window, 2-
light belfry openings and clock faces. Interior: pointed
tower arch. 3 box pews, Anglo-Saxon drum-shaped font with
crude carvings of a man on horseback, early C14 pulpit
carved out of a single piece of oak has traceried panels and
was restored in C19. Stained glass late C19.
