Late C18. 3 storeys and semi-basement red brick. Parapet with stone coping.
stuccoed stringcourse. Northernmost window bay recessed with arcading over
lst floor windows. Doorway up 5 steps with handrail on either side. Narrow
window on either side of door, segmental fanlight, reeded frieze, and 6 panel
moulded double doors. Footscraper. The rear elevation has a mediaeval portion
which is the porch to the original Archbishop's Palace. 2 storeys flint and
ashlar with buttresses. Sashes. Blocked in arch, The rest of the building
has a curved bay and 3 sashes. Doorcase with rectangular fanlight and steps
with wrought iron railings.
