Memorial. Dated 1807 in memory of William Andrew Nesbitt. It is signed by
Coade. Coadestone on brick. Relatively large rectangular pedestal with
cornice of bay leaf ornament. Each end are swags of material. On the sides
rectangular panels are flanked by inverted torches. On top is a large lamp
with fluted base and flames rise from the top. It stands on a one step plinth
which includes the sockets from area railings. South side is inscribed in
Roman serif upper and lower case lettering and records the death of William
Nesbitt in 1807 and his daughter Marianne in 1806.
