House. Early C18; raised and altered later. Squared sandstone with
sandstone rubble to side wall, partly rebuilt in brick; pantile roof; brick
stack. 2-cell, direct-entry plan, with outshut. 2 low storeys; 2-window
front. Central C20 door approached by stone steps. Later inserted 4-pane
sash to right; 3-light, large-pane horizontal sliding sash to left, and
enlarged firewindow to end left. Two 2-light, large-pane horizontal sliding
sashes to first floor. Thin timber lintels to all ground floor windows.
Coped gable and shaped kneeler to right. Single end stack to right.
Interior: fireplace with quarter round moulded bressummer and heck survives
in ground floor room to left. Spice cupboard and door of single raised
panel with butterfly hinges to left of fireplace. Chamfered beams are
exposed throughout ground floor.
