2.Medieval Cross. Early C15. Probably erected to commemorate the
landing of the Duke of Lancaster at Ravenspurn where it
originally stood. Ashlar. Square four step plinth, with octagonal
base and octagonal cross shaft with decorated capital, surmounted
by an elaborate carved dross decorated with figures, now badly
eroded. Ancient Monument No.132.
