GV II

Hall house. Early C16 to centre with early C19 extension to right end. Timber
framed, underbuilt in brick with red brick infill above, weatherboard cladding to
first floor left and red and grey brick on extensions. Plain tiled roof, hipped
with gablet to left. Two storeys with end stack to left, ridge stack to left of
centre and offset front end stack to right. Four framed bays with heavy curved
bracing to first floor on two bays. Irregular casement fenestration with three
windows on the first floor and three windows on the ground floor, one large
arched, leaded three-light window through both floors to left of centre. Angle
bay window to ground floor right of centre. Door to right of centre in framed,
Horsham slab gabled porch. Door on rear elevation indicates survival of cross
passage.
