Hall house. Early C16 to centre with C17 extensions and C19 and C20 additions to
ends. Timber framed with large sandstone block cladding with ironstone galleting
and brick dressings, tile hung gables to plain tiled roof, hipped with gablet to
right. Two storeys to left, one storey and attic to right. End stack to left,
corbelled C17 stack to rear right. One cambered head, leaded casement window on
each floor of left hand, gabled bay, one 5-light,diamond-pane leaded casement
window to first floor left of centre. One gabled attic casement dormer to right
of centre over two,3-light ground floor windows with cambered heads. Former door
to cross passage now blocked. New door to left of centre with flanking, two-
light, diamond-pane, leaded casement window under gabled hood on wooden supports.
Single storey half-hipped range to right, breaking forward. Three-gabled dormers
to rear over pentice verandah on braced posts.
